I give it 10 out of 10 as it's the best electric shave I've ever had. Always had issues with foil razors, only a Philips worked for me before but after reading reviews decided to give it a go and very impressed, and when you wet shave with it, even better.
What put me off from buying, the size of the shaver head, how can that work! But it does, the closest shave ever as good as any razor
I have owned and loved the Panasonic ES2849, I could rave about that shaver for an age, BUT I thought out of curiosity I would try the LA63, after all I needed new foils and cutters so the additional expense for the new shaver was minimal considering the amazing offer on this website.
Being a bit apprehensive I spoke to Luke at Shavers.co.uk, his opinion (which is highly respected) was that the LA63 was a step further mmm how can that be possible? The ES8249 is amazing, but what the heck so I purchased the LA 63, true to form it arrived hassle free the very next day.
So how did it compare? Well, major point for me was no cleaning system but heck this is a lot cheaper than the same shaver with the system (LA93) so what a brilliant idea for shavers.co.uk to supply a can of Braun maintenance spray to wean us off the cleaning system, did it work? I'll never have a cleaning system again! That's my verdict, a brush a rinse and a spray of this magic stuff does more than any cleaning system could hope to do!
What about the shaver? ah well, I was looking for a faster shave, was it?, YES! Indeed I must have cut shaving time down by about 5 mins.
As for the shave itself, well the best just got better!
The Shaver? Again it is more comfortable, less noisy, better display and lighter, so a huge improvement.
Don't hesitate, if this was twice the price I would buy it again, you get what you pay for and this is value for money!

I've been electric shaving for about 5 years. My old Braun 360 Complete felt like it was slowing down as the shave wasn't as close as it had been (I've had it about 2.5 years). I bought a Gillette Fusion Proglide, which resulted in a very close shave, but accompanied by cuts and shaving rash.
I decided to upgrade. I looked at the Braun Series 790-3 and the LA63. A very helfpul chat with Kevin at Shavers.co.uk resulted in me ordering this. Ordered, and less than 24 hours later it was on my doormat - thanks Kevin and Shavers.co.uk
I decided to give the wet shave a go. In the shower armed with a fully charged Shaver. When I switched it on I realised I had to take this thing seriously. It sounded so powerful, it felt like I had a powertool in my hand!
Anyway, enough verbiage. An extremely close shave (much closer than the Braun ever got) and absolutely no redness at all. It's a great experience electric shaving in the shower.
It's also impressive that you shave holding this the same way you would a wet shave razor, rather than a traditional rotary because of the angle of the head.
I was worried about jumping from Braun to Panasonic, but am so glad I did. You won't be disappointed, you'll just be seriously impressed.
Cleaning under the shower is a breeze too, so you can save money and forget the cleaning system.
