Good value but a little disappointing overall. I paid extra for the 8 piece set over the 4 piece set. The shaver itself and the shaver head are built well, not as well as the Brauns but they are priced more competitively. The plastics don't feel cheap but they don't exactly give you a quality feel either. You get three different kinds of height adjustable extensions, one for the beard, another for body hair and a third for the hair on your head. Apart from slight variances in minimum and maximum height, they all look alike and all do the same job. The additional attachment heads, specifically the foil shaver and the nose trimmer are sub par, not as effective as a dedicated foil shaver and nose hair trimmer. They are so ineffective that I would say the additional 30usd I paid for the 8 piece set over the 4 piece set was not worth it.
Great so far. But really need to review in 6 months time when it has been fully used. after 4 days can actually comment!!!
I've been using my old mono-functional Phillips beard trimmer for more years than I care to remember. Always thought it did the job, despite needing to be plugged in. Wrong. Someone should have told me I needed to buy this one. It's brilliant. Does everything, and does it well. And it's ridiculously easy to use. Get one.
