I've been using Phillips coolskin shavers now for around 5 years and am on my 5th one. Each and every one of them battery problems as with the other review I just read. Previously had an older version of the coolskin which I had two of (replaced during warranty). Once the warranty had expired found myself having to purchase another (this model). Not impressive considering they were around £150 each when I bought them. The 3rd one of the above has just exploded whilst on charge for only 30mins and nearly set the house alight. The acid from the battery was leaking and melting the outercasing and leaking on the outside. Luckily caught it in time only because I could smell it. This is still within the two year warranty and I've had three of this model (bought the first in May 07 (9 months ago - that's 1 every 3 months)!!! All are well looked after and only used once every two days. A complete joke have completely lossed confidence in these models. Don't risk it - works great for a few months then will give up on you.
had this product for 10months now, it does give a close shave, but you do need to use it twice a day, the cutters now need replacing, (so they don't last for 2 years), you can only buy cutters in single packets, unless you use the american sites and they come in triple packets, (does not make sense to me). Spent half a day on the internet, Check cutters and foil replacements before you buy!!!!
this shaver claims to shave as close as a blade..... a 5 week old blade maybe!!! The shave with this shaver is appalling, only rectified by having a wet blade shave and then using the shaver a least twice a day to keep a close shave, anything more than a days growth and the shaver does not perform. Very dissappointed with this product.
