10/10I bought an 8000 series in 2004 and it is still going strong. It is certainly the best shaver I've ever owned and the self cleaning aspect keeps it looking like new.
The only problem is that the cleaning fluids have eaten into the metal housing and unless this can be overhauled, I shall have to buy a replacement. Still! nothing lasts forever. Bravo Braun

10/10Placed order at 13.00 hrs and product was delivered (free postage!) next morning at 09.30 hrs with first class post. This is the fourth or fifth time I have ordered at the "Shaver Centre Olympic" and on all occasions delivery was as fast and reliable. Excellent!

7/10General usage, but new foil has hole which is causing problems. Usually buy from here, but sorry to say Amazon is currently cheaper, guys. Love your service, but won't buy again until you're competitive.

5/10I've only given 5 out of 10 because of the price. In April it only cost £15.50 but i've checked all the other web sites and this site is the cheapest at £24.50 ........a bit expensive me thinks......but still a good product.

5/10Last time I bought a new foil and cutter pack for my 8595, I was pleased to find the item quickly and easily on your website. This time I thought that I had found it quickly once again but I then noticed that the item I had picked was listed as the one for the newer shavers 8985 and 8995 only. It then took far too long to trawl through for the one I wanted. Just hope that I will receive the correct one.

10/10I was given my Braun 8595 @ Xmas 2003 and have only just (July 2005) replaced the foil & cutter. The performance of this razor is excellent, so much so that we gave one to my son for his birthday. It gives a close shave with the minimum of discomfort. I would heartily recommend this product

2/10I bought my Braun 8595 in November 2004 and I have had to replace the foil and cutter in June 2005. This is an unacceptably short time especially as I have being buying Braun shavers for many years and have not had to replace them in anywhere as short a time. However the service has always been excellent and so convenient especially when buying the cleaning refills.

Your cutting system works as a co-operation of the the foil and cutter cutting against each other. Changing just the foil or cutter on their own would be like sharpening just one side of a pair of scissors! If you have had your foil and cutter fitted for more than 18months we recommend this as an excellent way to improve your shave.
