I bought this to replace the broken trimmer on my Braun CoolTec. It's a quality product but no fitting instructions are provided (there are a few related YouTube videos to give an idea of the process). This is how I did it. Removal: With the trimmer in its extended operating position, I slid the corner of a credit card under the right hand side of the tail-end of of the trimmer body. With a bit of sliding pressure the trimmer sprang off. After fitting the replacement I found that it didn't fit snugly, so I removed it again and checked the profile of the new spring with the original - I found they were slightly different so I used the original spring. To fit: I placed the curved end of the original spring into the small hole low down on the trimmer’s body. Then, holding the trimmer above the channel on the razor while extended just beyond its normal operating position, I placed the right-angled end of the spring into the small hole on the razor’s body. With the spring secure at both ends, I carefully lowered the trimmer into the channel and then slid it down to its stowed position.
Product arrived fast but no instructions as to how it goes together
Ordered and delivered next day. Fitting a bit fidly as no instructions with it but searched YouTube and found similar. Would give 100% if it had instructions
