This HF 9000 shaver does not give me a close shave. I have used Remington shavers for years without problem but this model is a dud. The instruction leaflet advises you to use it daily for 4 weeks to allow your beard to accustom to the cutting system. I have used it for about 7 weeks and it is much the same as when I bought it - not much use. It seems to have plenty of power and battery lasts well and it seems to perform better when it is wet e.g. in the shower. However as I wanted a dry razor it doesn't suit me. The retailer won't give me a refund so I am stuck with it. I would not recommend it.
