When my MS2100 gave up the ghost after 25 years, I was apprehensive about moving to a modern rechargeable razor. However, the battery works to spec, the razor gives a good close shave and the foil system seems more robust than my old one. So far, so good.
This is a great electric shaver. I can get a very close shave with this. I shave every day and I'm left with very soft smooth skin. I tried using a safety razor after reading great reviews but I get a closer shave with my F5800.
It's a foil shaver, so expect to replace the foil every 6 months to a year.
The plus side is that if you stretch the skin, it gives a very close shave indeed and better than the triple rotary ones. In fact Remington foils are virtually as smooth as the wet razor, soap and cuts!
This razor is chunky and gives the feel of a quality product.
