Quite a nice shaver. Works well but...
After 3 months it was totally dead - had to send it in for repair under warranty. Now at just over 2 years old it has gone kaput again. I would expect longer for a £200 shaver, seeing as my previous cheapies lasted 5 years+.
I've used Philishave razors for over 40 years and I can honestly say this RQ1250 is the best I've ever used. My last razor was a Coolskin but using the RQ1250 with shaving gel (£1 at Sainsburys) is not only a lot cheaper than having to buy the Nivea cartridges but it also gives a much smoother shave. The only drawback, if you travel a lot, is that the charger stand is fairly large and can't be accommodated in the travel pouch. I've taken 1 star off for that.
I've had other top brand names but this just beats the lot; easy to maintain, no fuss.
