I always cut my husbands hair with scissors. I am quite good at this if I say so myself. lol Unfortunately my arthritis has got the better of me so I looked for something to do the job for me. This hair trimmer is incredibly smooth in action and cut his hair faster and neater than I ever could, even before arthritis got worse. I made mistakes at first. like cutting the top of his hair from front to back and so taking too much off. Next time I will use the longer prongs and go from the crown forward. The only thing which puzzles me is the angled prongs. How are they used????? For what purpose????? Another bonus with this trimmer is that THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO BUZZING OR VIBRATION IN MY HANDS WHEN I USE IT. With the arthritis I get nerve buzzing in my hands so THIS IS PERFECT !!
