Philips QT4045/15 Series 7000 Vacuum Beard Trimmer Reviews

Review of the Philips QT4045 TurboVac Beard Trimmer

Excellent product. I like it very much.

Battery operation is a huge bonus.

Depending on the cut length, it lasts for 20-30 times on a single charge. It has the safest blade I have seen so far. cutting perfectly for 6 years with just little lubricating every year.

It was quite difficult to take it apart for cleaning, though. Adjustment ring and a metal ring have to be removed first, then side panels. It will give access to motor and vacuum parts.

I had one of these before and after years of good service it packed in but no problems with that as it had served me very well. Then I made the mistake of replacing it with another make which I have since dumped because it only demonstrated how superior the QT4045 is.

My new Philishave is terrific & also 10/10 to for excellent service.

Good but...charger failed and inadequate specs info.

I really like this beard trimmer but....the charger failed. I can use a generic variable charger but there is no information either in the manual or on the (failed) charger that states the correct input voltage required. One of the other reviewers states that the input voltage is 6 volts but how do I know this is correct for sure. I think it is irresponsible of Philips to not state this information in the specifications and on the charger.
