When using the Lumea, gentle pulses of light are applied to the hair root to then reduce the speed at which they grow back. The amount of hair your body grows will gradually decrease over time, leaving you hair-free and silky-smooth.

The Philips Lumea is suitable for a wide variety of hair and skin types, including naturally dark blonde, brown and black hairs. Similar to other IPL treatments, the Philips Lumea is NOT effective on red, light-blonde or white/grey hair. The Lumea is also NOT suitable for dark skin.
