I agree with the previous person. The touch controls are too sensitive but my main criticism is like every other cordless trimmer I have owned, is the battery life. Mine is less than eighteen months old and I now only get six minutes out of a full charge. The actual performance though , I find very good. Shame it gets let down in other areas.
On paper this looks really good!
But the major problem is with the touch control setting. It is so fiddly that in order to set at say 12mm, you have to go over and below 12 several times before you can hit 12! I have sometimes given up and settled for 12.2 or 11.9; not a major problem perhaps but you do want control if it is available!
The other issue I have is with the way it randomly moves up and down the various lengths when you first turn it on.
Basically the control system goes haywire. I have to wait a couple of minutes to stop doing its thing and then go through the manoeuvres above to set it set to my desired length!
Emailed Remington; initially they asked me to send it to them but then it started working again. Once set it works fine and cuts my beard.
A colossal waste of money in the end. I gave it one star because I can't go lower!
