Typed my model number in to get a new shaver head. The one I received was the right one and it came in great time. The only down side is that it doesn't fit right in my beard trimmer, and rattles. I need to keep the shaver head pressed down for it to work correctly, other than that... its doing the job.
The item arrived promptly and was well packed. However, I had great difficulty fitting the unit. The old unit is easy to remove and to fit but this new one proved less flexible. The hinge part on the old unit has slits in it so that it can be squeezed for the tiny pegs to slot in properly. The new unit doesn’t have those slits. After about twenty minutes of effort with the new unit I gave up and dismantled the cutting parts and attached them to the old head (No point in returning it since a replacement would be no different). It then took less than 2 seconds to fit. The new cutting parts work fine. If this is a genuine Remington part then they have made it more awkward to fit the replacements. The shaver itself has served me well for years and I expect it to continue to do so as long as I can fit a replacement blade.
Doesn't fit flush in my remington, but manged to fit it somehow and it works fine.
