I purchased this shaver after reading several reviews of the product and discussing my concerns with a Shavers advisor prior to placing my order. I have been almost exclusively wet shaving for many years, but have occasionally used electric razors in the past. This shaver provides a quick and easy shave but fails to provide a close shave under the chin and to the neck. I need to shave again within around eight hours. If, like me, you have been a wet shaver considering an easier solution, save your money and just put up with the faff of wet shaving. The results with this Panasonic are ok, but there remains no comparison to the clean result provided by a wet shave, in my opinion.
I've been using electric shavers for years... Braun Series 7, Braun Series 9, most top of the range Philipses including Series 9000 and Panasonic ES-LV95 and I thought that there can't be better shaver than the last one, still great shaver...but I was wrong. The ES-LV9Q is the best shaver I've ever had. It gives the smoothest shave the electric shaver can give. No Braun of Phillips can compare with it. The only little drawback is that it is a bit less comfortable in your hand than ES-LV95 bacause of sharp edges on the bottom grip. Apart from that it is really fantastic shaver that gives you the most sensitive shave on the market.
Superior to other shavers I’ve used over the years - quick, comfortable and effective. I initially wondered how the cleaning system could be effective without the normal manual brushing and washing, which always necessitated removing the foil head on previous shavers. However, it’s brilliant; totally cleans and dries at the touch of a button. The only ongoing cost is the cleaning fluid, which comes in sachets, but it’s an acceptable extra to maintain the shaver in top condition. Would recommend both the shaver, and Shavers for the excellent service.
