Arrived on the day from a next-day-delivery.(Awesome) Used the shaver 'after' reading the entire English part of the manual..and my oh my..this Braun shaver definitely is the hottest shaver(for the rich) best ever shaver I've had. I went from razor blades for 3 years, then onto my first Phillips rotary shaver..for the next 14 years. (Can't believe it lasted me that long without breaking down) I couldn't go on with the Phillips rotary as my facial hair wasn't getting cut consistently as it had been all that time. Shaving became time consuming(1 hour to shave round and round and my arm is aching) facial hair has become quite and brittle. I own a foil body shaver which is brilliant at cuting long and smooth shaving...so it got me thinking of getting a foil shaver for the beard. I couldn't decide between the Braun series 7 and series 9(series 8 didn't crop up on 'special offers'. They were both near enough the same discounted price with the series 9 costing £20 more. Although this was more appealing and reassuring to go one better. Finally tried it out on Friday 8th of January 2021. And I'm blown away..gob smacked at how smooth my face is with noooo irritation or burns what so ever...(No! machines don't do cuts..if you got cut from a shaving machine then you have issues.) Foil shaving is the future. I haven't used the cleaning\charging station for the cleaning just yet..only for the charging...so I cannot comment on that although it's nothing important..the importance is from the quality of the shave..Brilliant!!!
