OK, so the LF71 only arrived yesterday.
Charged last night and used this morning with shaving gel.
WOW. This thing shaves close. I would say as close to a wet shave as to make the difference negligible. Shaved at 07:15 this morning. Typing at 21:45 and would say that the growth now is less than having just shaved with the Philips 3 head rotary this has replaced.
I did not think it was possible to get as good a shave with an electric shaver as I had this morning.
Please believe the hype. This shaver is as good as it gets.
Ok, received my shaver yesterday afternoon, 48 hours after ordering, very well packaged and prompt delivery. This is the second order I have placed with this company over the years and their service is always outstanding.
The shaver took 1 hour to fully charge and the weight and build quality is second to none. I have shaved twice now with the product, and well what can I say...Wow outstanding!
I have always been a wet shave chap, but I find blades just don't seem to be what they used to be, and seem to blunt extremely quickly on me, so I thought I would give this Panasonic a trial. I am so glad I did.
The results are amazing, I have never had such a close shave ever, absolutely no irritation or redness.
The motor omits a sonic noise rather than a whirring if that makes sense, pretty high pitched but super smooth performance. The cleaning station is a breeze to operate and cleans, lubricates and dries the razor as well.
Quite frankly, at this price, it's a no brainer. Buy one, you will not be disappointed.
Pros: Everything
Cons: None!
Many thanks Guys - Superb.
My old Philips shaver just didn't cut it any more (did you see what I did there) and the cost of replacing the heads was ridiculous. So the search began.
I always research any purchases and the name Panasonic kept cropping up in most top 10's. I also looked at the Braun's, but for sheer value for money this shaver was hard to beat.
The Braun 5030 with cleaner/charger was a very similar buy but it was not wet and dry, the cleaner didn't have a drying cycle and it didn't have four shaving blades. In its defence, it was a little cheaper than this Panny. So I took the plunge and purchased the Panasonic.
Well, I had my first shave this morning and WOW! I was really sceptical as to whether it would be anywhere near as close as a wet shave but it really is.
It didn't irritate or pluck and effortlessly did the job.
Bear in mind that the new 93 model just has an extra blade and a little more eye candy on the display, the 71 at nearly half the price is an absolute steal.
Personally I think the 5 blades of the 93 is close to overkill and makes the shaving head look a bit cumbersome.
I know it's perhaps a bit soon for a subjective review but I'm a bit of a gadget freak and it's not often that something makes me go WOW.
All I can say is, grab one while you can.
