Previously i had a Braun series 7and 9. Both good shavers. Series 7, close shave but too noisy. Series 9, quieter than the 7 but takes too long to get close. I've only been using the Panasonic for 3 days,so im hoping that in maybe 2-3 weeks after my skin has adjusted to a new shaver, it will be shaving as close as the series 7. Hopefully, I'll be able to get the best of both worlds. The closeness of the 7 but with the quietness of the 9. There's no reason for it not to. An ultra thin foil (how the hell do they manafacture that!) and ultra sharp blades. Fingers crossed!
