Had this since Christmas. My priority has always been minimum irritation around the neck line where I have particularly sensitive skin and suffer from ingrowing hair. I have a thick and fast growing beard that in an ideal world would be shaved twice a day regardless of closeness of cut.
This is without doubt the best for my neck line of any shaver I have used to date. This is my 5th Braun, and I have run Philishaves as well. I get no irritation at all, and ingrown hairs are greatly reduced.
I am not convinced that it is as close as my Braun Flex Integral (7680?) that I owned, but Braun regretfully changed the foil and cutter design on that, and it was never the same, prompting me to change.
I must also add (which other reviews don't appear to pick up) that the pulsonic function genuinely seems to give my face a good massage... and make me slightly deaf...
A tip for you...rinse the head and cutter under the tap to wash out the majority of your stubble before sticking it in the cleaner. Makes the cleaner last MUCH longer. It is actually quite nice to use as a wet shaver as well (not sure this is recommended...)
Anyway, great shave let down by rubbish carry case.
And you can't stick it in to clean without charging it. I like to run batteries down occasionally.

A fantastic electric shaver.
This thing actually shaves closer than a wet blade going with the grain. I don't think anything electric will ever be made that will cut closer than a wet blade going against the grain.
And it can be used wet, with shave cream/foam/gel (NOT in the shower). A simple rinse under the tap followed by a cleaning cycle in the station will more than suffice.
