I was quite please with the device for a couple of months after which the perfomance became noisy and irregular but adequate. After a year I purchased the hugely expensive replacement foil and cutter which again was good for a couple of months or so. My son purchased one after chatting to me a month or so after the original purchase. He feels the same. Appearence of this review will at least show that the possible wonderful experiences of others are as genuine as a not so glowing review. I have a moderate beard still readily serviced by and old Philishave.
I've been using the shaver for just over two months. Based on the performance of previous electric shavers I had determined never to use one again, but after reading some of the reviews decided to have another go. I have to say that I am most impressed with the Panasonic, which shaves every bit as close as a razor.
Razor ordered 11.45am Friday 19th August, deliverd 7.58am Saturday 20th August! The razor is incredible, a fast really close shave in minutes. Use with foam whilst under the shower, brilliant, and I was ready for work 15 mins earlier.At the age of 61 this is my first electric shaver, it's been worth the wait.
