Brilliant

Don't read the bits about nicks and cuts - these are brilliant - I've been doing my own hair for years, using a variety of clippers, trying in vain to get them as close as possible - I was put off a little by some of the reviews for "setting them up" and "beware, nicks" etc. Don't worry - if you already use clippers without the plastic guards/combs to get really short, then these are for you - that's exactly what they are - they're just already set up to get as short as possible with clippers.

Got them a day after ordering, tried them just now and they're fantastic - I've had every make under the sun over the last 18 years, and these knock the rest out of the picture. I'll get these from now on.

If you're balding, and you don't want a wet shave, then these are for you!

Shortest electric cut i've ever had.......

Fantastic service - delivered two days after ordering.

I've been using clippers to zero my hair for the last 10 years but this bad boy gives the shortest cut i've ever had from an electric clipper. Have read other comments from people saying they got nicked - I can understand how that might happen.

These are a lot heavier than my previous Remington clippers and I had got in the habit of putting a bit of pressure on them to get a good cut - you really don't want to do that with these !!

Just let the clippers do the work - they are sharp enough that you don't need to press down at all.

Personally speaking, when doing the back of my head, my technique was always to go from the nape of the neck up to the crown, against the direction of growth. With these, I find it easier to go in the direction of growth, from the crown down to the nape of the neck. I tried my old method and managed to nick myself at the tricky spot on the back of the head but no big deal. Once you get used to them they are fine.

I also find that the clippers tend to "bounce" a bit on the head when you get to a bald spot which can cause them to dig in and cut your skin - i'm wondering if that couldn't be cured by maybe applying a bit of oil to the flat surface on the back of the blades (King Of Shaves face oil ?) before starting the cut to allow the blades to glide better.

I love these - once you get used to the weight and the sharpness they really do a great job. No complaints at all - great service, great product.

Many thanks.

Great Clipper

I have used many clippers but nothing like this balding clipper and once you have set the blades to what you want it does a fantastic job easy to handle and I love it and would recommend with no reservations
