Bought a pair of these for my Dad and now after seeing what they can do I just bought a pair for myself. I don't know any other clipper that can cut this close. Sure, it can't get as close as shaving but that would irritate my head and it's a bit of a hassle what with having to do it every few days and putting shaving gel on it. This is no hassle. I couldn't believe how these cut. Basically bald. They are the best.
I was a tiny bit wary given the reviewer cutting himself, but got these due to the other rave reviews..
Have to say I dont understand how anyone cut themself with these.. I was super cautious to start but soon realised these were fine to use, dont require any demanding technique or anythng, work just like my old ones.
The results were utterly superb, as other people have said feels like the day after a wet shave. (Which I used to do but found quite harsh on my scalp). Anyway along with most of the other folks above, I heartilly recommend these. :)
Top marks to shavers.co.uk too. I ordered them yesterday and wanted them for the weekend (its bank holiday weekend so didnt want to wait till tuesday), they sorted out saturday delivery for me and they turned up as promised.
Straight down to the bone in double quick time. The result feels like one day's growth does after a razor shave! - wow! Only difference is that your head won't be cut to ribbons as these clippers are as smooth as silk and therefore provide a very comfortable cut.
Spent barely half the time I usually do cutting my hair and due to its new length it won't need doing again for probably 4-5 days! Will also plough through tough patches of hair as if they weren't there.
Great value at £40. Chuffed.
