I have no objective proof, but I feel that using the sachets improves hygiene and prolongs the life of cutters and foil. Sachets arrived very promptly.
The Panasonic cleaning system is a lot more expensive than the Braun system, but the Panasonic shaving experience is miles better that Braun and as a result, I put up with the cost of the Panasonic cleaning fluid. Olympic Shaver Centre (Shavers.co.uk) are brilliant and I wouldn't shop anywhere else for Men's grooming products.
