Best ever Panasonic shaver, shave improves after 2 or 3 days
The razor and improved cleaning charging unit are much better than the Panasonic LV81.
I've been a top of the range Panasonic user for at least 20 years. This new model takes the biscuit. Whilst its predecessors have been excellent this one creates a new dimension.
I have shaved for over 40 years and used Philips but mainly Braun foil systems. I had become dissatisfied with my last Braun 8000 series model, and I had to have the head replaced as it was failing again resulting in poor performance.
I never felt that I had a clean shave. The last straw was that the cleaning unit failed. I called Shavers.co.uk for advice and decided to purchase this Panasonic model.
The performance is superb providing a very close shave and I don't feel I require to shave halfway through the day. I been using it for a week now but only in a dry capacity. Its very easy to clean and seems to retain the hair cuttings within the head where the Braun managed to discard the shaving all over the sink.
The cleaning system is very different from the Braun. While the Braun is a replacement cartridge the Panansonic has a tank that you fill with water and add a sachet of cleaning fluid which lasts about 30 days. Probably a more environmentally friendly system. More importantly the cleaning system works well and the razor is spotless after the process.
