This is my fifth wet/dry Panasonic Shaver, all have been good to excellent, this one giving the best shave. However, this has only lasted 13 months, bought April 2020, now will not hold charge. Ironically I don't even use it wet nowadays but I am not happy as all my previous Pans have lasted at least 5years. Will probably buy another, but it will be a good test of brand loyalty. 5 Stars for the shave, zero stars for durabilty/value when I know that Panasonic are capable of better.
I reluctantly had to replace my old Remington rotary shaver which I had for many years. I bought the more modern version but was dissapointed to discover that it was a shadow of the old one. After much research and reading online reviews it appears that a lot of big name new shavers are not as good as the older versions. I have always rated Panasonic products so in a leap of faith bought the direct drive foil model. It took a few days to get used to a foil shaver as opposed to a rotary shaver, but the results are quite good. I have to put a lot of effort into getting a close shave so the battery doesn't last as long as claimed. The motor is very strong but a little noisy and the design fits well in the hand. It has a quality feel and being made in Japan I expect it to last many years.
Must be my fourth Panasonic Razor. Only the four head version was less than 100%.
