I bought this model as an experiment. I used Braun shavers for 20 years then was given a rotary shaver. On my third one now which takes an eternity to get a shave which is not close or smooth. Switched on this Braun shaver straight out of the box (when it arrived in less than 24 hours) and wow! what a difference. One minute's shave with this is better than ten minutes with the rotary shaver and the result is a smooth face better than I can get with a wet shave. Very happy indeed
