As an 80 year-old in coronavirus lock-down I was in desperate need of a hair cut, to avoid being mistaken for the wild man of the woods. Sadly my wife is partially sighted and could not do the job if I was to be sure of emerging with both ears. I already have a similar trimmer, from a leading competitive manufacturer, which, due to the odd design of its height comb, appears only able to tackle stubble. It is useless with anything longer. The Panasonic had no trouble, although it did take two full charges and nearly 2 hours to complete the job - hair and beard. A professional mains-powered clipper would, I am sure, have been a lot faster but the Panasonic should be quicker next time, when starting with much shorter hair. Nevertheless, I am very pleased with the result, although my wife declares that I now look as if I'm wearing a skull cap cut from the stair carpet. I take that as a compliment and have offered to do her hair in return. So far the offer has not been accepted.
Bought as present for husband whose very fussy and thinks the more you pay the better the product, husband absolutely loves it and can’t believe the price I paid ( he actually went on the website to check)
I liked it as it runs a while after full charge than other trimmers I have had in the past. I was surprised that it did not nick me on the lowest close setting when using the open guide (silver) and does give a good even trim at any setting. On the black close guide it does pull on hairs so I stopped using that guide. Its light weight as plastic body and need to be careful not to drop in case of accidental damage.
