The day before I purchased the 4776, I actually ordered a replacement foil & cutter pack for my ageing (but trusty) Braun 2540. I've used the website in the past for the same replacement item so had no hesitation purchasing thru shavers.co.uk again. The foil pack arrived in the post the next day which was great.
In hindsight, I should've taken a look at the new shavers & prices before ordering the foil pack, but no matter. My trusty 2540 is now as good as new so I thought I'd take advantage of shavers.co.uk's price deals & buy a new shaver aswell (in for a penny)! After reading the website's product reviews & info on the new Braun range I plumped fot the 4776.
This product is far superior to my 2540 in terms of features. I have used it once to make sure all is well & I am confident that it will do the job (once my 2540 is retired)! I have used Braun products for best part of 20 years now so am expecting their usual high build quality. My only gripe is that there is no cleaning brush included as it can be cleaned with water. After reading some other users comments on similiar shavers cleaning systems, I personally will be using a brush to clean (I have concerns of damaging the cutters abilty by using water). That said, this is not going to sway my opinion of the 4776.
This shaver is a fine Braun product & I am expecting it to give me many good shaves just like the 2540. However, my main reason for submitting this review is to congratulate shavers.co.uk on their excellent service. Both in providing a far reaching product range aswell as detailed info on all models on the website. Along with that, the prices cannot be ignored & the delivery schedules are fabulous (the 4776 arrived the day after ordering). Thankyou shavers.co.uk!
