The built in long hair trimmer on my shaver broke (after several years of solid use) and i struggled to find an equivalent shaver at a decent price. So I got this as an alternative and it's brilliant, not only is it easier to use than the built in long hair trimmer I'm used to, it also comes with different length covers so I can do my sideburns, round my ears etc to a much better standard than doing it by eye. Works really well, would recommend. Also comes with a nice little pouch to store them in which I thought was a nice touch.
