This is my first foil shaver. Both previous shavers were phillips rotary 3 head shavers. My first shaver was powerful and great at cutting but after 11 years the battery died. I replaced it with another phillips.... not good, underpowered. I decided after 2ish years to replace it and decided to try foil. This shaver is powerful enough to cope with a few days growth, great in the shower or with foam, not so good dry..... but my main complaint is it seems to struggle to get all my neck hair and even after lots of passes i still get out the bic razor to finish it. Great for tash hair though. Overall good, 1 hour charge, lasts about 45 minutes per charge. Maybe I'll get the hang of it in time
Was going to replace my ancient Braun (like Trigger's broom - 4 replacement batteries and umpteen new heads) - when I was swayed by comments on here about how much better than Braun. So bought one, and it is. No hesitation at recommending.
This is the first razor I have felt comfortable with right from starting to use it. It is early days but I am getting closer shaves than I have had with any other razor.
