Inspired by nature's sunrise, light gradually increases within 30 minutes until your room is filled with bright yellow light. This process of changing an increasing light stimulates your body to wake up naturally. By the time light has filled the room your chosen natural sound completes the wake up experience, leaving you ready for the day ahead.
At your set wake up time natural sound will play to complete the wake up experience and ensure you are awake. The selected sound gradually increases in volume to your selected level within one and a half minutes. There are three natural sounds you can choose from: Bird Song, Birds in the forest and Zen Garden.

Sensitivity to light differs from person to person. In general, when using a higher light intensity a person needs less time to become fully awake. This light really does work well. At its brightest it provides a good strong light, but this will then dim down to almost nothing. Just about all the settings can be adjusted, so you can customise how it will work in a way that suits you. One criticism is that the bird sounds repeat on quite a short cycle and so after a couple of minutes it starts to sound rather predictable. This is a great shame as the sounds themselves are very realistic. As a consequence we try to turn off the sound as soon as we can - otherwise would happily listen to them for ages! Best Alarm clock ever.
