I purchased the Panasonic ER-SC40 several months ago and cannot fault it, except I'd have liked an attachment to cut my hair longer on top, but otherwise it's brilliant. I bought this Braun as it had loads of attachments and like the versatility that offers. However, these clippers feel lightweight and less robust than the Panasonic and I don't feel it cut as well. As a DIY set of clippers they work and the attachments are useful but I prefer my Panasonic, shame they don't do an attachment for longer styles as this Braun does.
I bought the Braun MGK5280 grooming kit ahead of a possible second lockdown and whilst I don't need all the attachments it did seem a good combination of products at a reasonable price. So far I am extremely pleased with my purchase.
Well made, easy to use, good quality. The device is light and have 4 guide combs, 2 of which can be set to a range of guides, instead of having a single guide per setting, clever design. Is re-chargeable, so cable shave optional. It also have clip-on accessories for the nose and ear areas, and a body trimmer. You can use the clipper part directly on the skin, for instance around the ears and back of the neck. There are more expensive ones out there, so maybe I can't give it 100%, as I have not used them, but this is very good value for money, in my opinion.
