The pop up beard trimmer is amazing, as it went through my hairy arms like a sheep being sheared! The foil head won't pick up flattish body hair though, and I use a wet razor on my face so I cannot comment on it's performance there . Still, my previous Remington was a Microfoil model of 1995, so I was easily impressed with this new one.

I have only used this for 3 days so not really able to assess long term yet. But it is very good value and is well made; much better made than my previous Remington. It is a little ferocious to the skin but I think that will improve with use and it does shave very closely. It doesn't start up on full power but takes half a second to get there. The important parts are washable. Overall, I think it's pretty good and the service from Shavers UK is second to none. The shaver arrived early the next day,
