Gives fairly close shave, but after having to really drag it across the skin. Also, lots of particles fall out, and not one to use on your way to work! Foil pack packed in under 12 months and difficult to replace. Overall, my previous Philips rotary shaver was cheaper, better at shaving and more efficient...
Best I have bought and I have bought many during my very many years of shaving.
I have extremely sensitive skin. I am unable to use razors as I always end up with cuts and nick's and very red irritated skin post shave. I have tried philishave which also left the occasional cut and very irritated skin. I resorted to using a beard trimmer which always left me with stubble but at least my skin was not as irritated. I decided to give Braun a try for the first time. After reading reviews and seeing a very generous discount on the 790cc I made the purchase. Only had one shave with it so far yesterday, I cannot believe how good a shave it gave me. Very close shave very fast. No cuts, no nicks and most importantly no irritated skin post shave which I have never experienced before. There was not even any need to use a post shave balm although I did anyway. Fantastic shaver, very good price, would highly recommend to people with very sensitive skin who have trouble finding a suitable shaver.
