This is my first Braun series 9 razor model 9292cc and it is brilliant it gives me the closest shave of any of my previous electric razors, but the only problem I have with it is the cleaning light is constantly on even after the razor has gone through the cleaning program in the cleaning pod.The razor has been back for a checkup under the guarantee but it still has the same problem is this a product problem?
This is probably the best electric razor I have ever owned. I’ve had a few over my years and all have done excellent jobs however when it comes to closeness of shave, this one beats all my previous razors hands down. I’d argue it’s almost as close as a wet shave. I’ve not tried it wet yet so it might even surpass my expectations there too. I’ve used it about a dozen times so far and can’t fault it. To top it all purchasing from these guys was a dream. They were the cheapest online by far and delivery was super quick even in the current lockdown situation. So 10/10 to Braun for an excellent product and 10/10 to Shavers.co.uk for their superb service.
I have not had it for long so the review is based on initial thoughts after less than a week's use. I have a series 7 as well and this is a replacement and a bit of an indulgence. It is beautifully made and I like the cleaning system. It handles well. I have not used it wet. It shaves very well and is very comfortable on the face. I find that it does not shave adequately on a single pass but does with several passes. It will not shave some of the bristles directly under my mouth. I have tried several shavers and only my battery powered Philishave will get them. It is expensive even with the discount. I would not have bought it without the discount. It does not seem to shave me more quickly than my other shavers and generally takes around 15 minutes. I like it and think that it is worth the money. I hope to be using it for many years.
