Really pleased with this shaver. Having last bought a top of the range Philishave in the early 1990s and sworn (as a result of that purchase) never to try electric shaving again, I was struck by how many positive reviews this shaver had....along with the general concept of wet electric shaving. Someone called it a 'game changer'... Well on the basis of my first 2 shaves with this Panny, I'd have to agree. It's very nearly as close as a good tradition wet blade shave but with very little irritation. I love it!
Having used a Braun and then onto a Philips 9700 with cleaning stand, they never shaved closer than a good old wet shave. This Panasonic is the first electric shaver that get as close to a wet blade I’ve ever tried, after using it for two and a half weeks now it’s close and nice to use one thing I’ve found is to use a cream after every shave this cuts down on the rash, nice that it uses water with just a small packet of cleaner, overall well worth the money
Excellent shaver can't fault it, shaves as close as my old double edge safety razor with no irritation. I have sensitive skin and get very sore razor burn from shaving, so used to only shave every other day and not at all at weekends and days off to give my skin a break. With this I shave wet with a good quality gel for sensitive skin and I get next to no irritation and I now shave every day. I bought the bundle with the cleaning station and again I'm glad I did as it keeps the razor fresh and clean and I believe lubricates the blades. I actually enjoy shaving now and I haven't been able to say that for years. Also the service from Shavers.co.uk was second to none as I ordered this on a Saturday night and it arrived first thing Tuesday morning.
