Recently purchased (Will review again in 6 Months). This is my first Panasonic shaver after using Braun shavers. first impression is that the shaver is very flexible and that the Four cutters leave a very smooth finish, Shaver hold charge well and quiet when in use, only negative would be that this is no cradle to sit the shaver in while charging which has meant leaving the shaver on top of table or on the floor.
Having replaced my2 year old Panasonic shaver with this one, I was just underwhelmed. I expected to feel a really close shave but that was not the case. It does the job. Great battery life.
Had my last Philips for 20 years and only replaced the blades once. Eventually bateries died. Thought get a brand new one technology has moved on, get a Japanese brand they never look to hairy. Mistake, this snags the hair if the growth is more than 3 days old so shave on Thursday and the Monday morning before work and you get ripped. Price has gone down by 5% on what I paid last year so maybe they know its not as good as the blurb. It had reviews of giving a close shave ! No the dry shave on a day old give acceptable. A wet shave gives good. It works with traditional shaving cream from the brush, Cream from a tube and good old water. Thing is if you are going to the faff of having a wet shave why would you not use a nice close shaving blade. Environmental reasons maybe. Best thing about this is that you can shave in the shower and safe the lost time (electric shaves take longer than blades ) so being able to use it in shower like a blade is a plus.
