Excellent shaver. Gives close shave, lightweight & easy to handle. Can recommend it.
I've used electric shavers all my adult life - an ultra sensitive skin sees to that. Having ditched rotary shavers three decades ago (skin irritation) I settled on a big brand and stuck to it. My last purchase was about 10 years ago, top of the range of the same big brand. I changed foils and cutters regularly to maintain quality and avoid carving my face. Time to change for this purchase and I automatically thought about the same brand. However, thanks to shavers.co.uk I found myself looking at Panasonic. This shaver is near the top of the range and with some hesitation I ordered it. Wow! I can't compare with current top models from other brands but the ES-LV95 Arc5 is incredible. Top priority for me is my skin and there are no problems. Speed of shaving is my next concern and I reckon I can now shave to a much better standard in half the time with no messing around with a blade to trim the missed bits. That brings me to charge retention - with much shorter shave time another big tick. It is difficult to fault this model. It is very light in the hand yet looks and feels like a quality product. In case you are wondering, I'm not a big fan of Panasonic, having had problems with TVs, DVD players and microwave ovens. I hope this shaver stand the test of time.
I have always shaved with a wet blade razor so this experience was new to me. As my face ages it is becoming a bit craggy and even with the best blades nicks and cuts were becoming a regular event. My first attempt with it was very disappointing, I felt like putting it back in the box and returning it. I used my old wet razor to complete the job. I sat and read the instructions, again, they do say it takes a little time to develop the technique with this machine. The second effort was better and by the third day I began to really like the machine. I can now thoroughly recommend this shaver.
