Panasonic Electric Shaver Buying Guide

Panasonic shavers are most well known as being high powered and waterproof for wet and dry use. Recently Panasonic have released a range of dry use only shavers to help cater for all requirements.

The most popular models and the technology upon which Panasonic's reputation is based is the Linear Drive system. All Linear Drive models feature a constant 13,000 oscillations per minutes motor that will give full power right up until the batteries are drained.

The Linear Drive system monitors the motor speed while shaving and ensures it always has the power to provide the 13,000 oscillations, even through tough patches of beard or when used wet.

Panasonic Linear Drive Wet & Dry

These are the wet and dry versions of the Linear Drive shavers described above. They can be used with a shaving foam or gel for maximum smoothness or are equally at home providing a traditional dry shave. For safety reasons these are generally rechargeable only as opposed to mains and rechargeable.

As the wet and dry versions of the Linear Drive they are Panasonic's top specification shavers. You will benefit from top end features such as quick charging times, LCD display and contour following, pivoting shaving heads.

They also feature adjustment settings to tune the level of head movement to suit your particular shaving style.

The Double Blade range are an entry level range which offer as much as possible, but to a price. The motor isn't as quick as some of its bigger brothers, however compare it to models of the same price by other manufacturers and it certainly has impressive features.
