bought this to replace series 3, best shaver I've ever bought, really close shave leaves a smooth face and so quiet... really pleased
Easy to buy, plenty of reviews but until you have it to compare against your previous razor then you have to remember how personal a review is. Delivery was spot on, although the packing was a little inadequate because the box was bashed on arrival. Smaller box may have been better. The razor does have fast 10,000 cycles per min, great, 2000 more than my Cooltec. With speed comes heat, and the foil does get hot and this is where the Cooltec comes into its own. The cooling element is great and a sad loss on this 740s Series 7 for someone with sensitive skin. You can get a close shave but it takes longer due to the heat on the foil being uncomfortable at times.
Bought this to replace a Series 3 Braun shaver. It provides a much better shave and is quieter than the series 3. So very pleased with purchase so far
